Polyvinylidene difluoride (PVDF) is a thermoplastic fluoropolymer of high crystallinity that we offer to our customers. This material has very high resistance to high-energy radiation and meets the highest purity requirements. PVDF also has good machinability and, therefore, is universal.
Other important properties of the plastic are its good abrasion resistance, high mechanical strength and very good chemical resistance even at high temperatures. PVDF also has very low sensitivity to microbiological infestation and is easy to process.
Because of these properties, PVDF is widely used in the chemical, food and semiconductor industries. Polyvinylidene difluoride is often used as a pipe lining and external component material. It is also used in sealing technology, metrology and for packaging foils.
