Polypropylene (PP)

Polypropylene (PP) is a thermoplastic, semicrystalline
material particularly characterized by its high stiffness, hardness and strength and zero tendency to stress cracking. In addition, polypropylene has high heat resistance, which is why it is very easy to process and to weld. Therefore, PP is particularly popular among our customers.

This plastic is resistant to almost all organic solvents and fats, as well as most acids and lyes. Another important feature is its odorlessness and skin tolerability, owing to which PP is well suited for applications in the food industry and in pharmacy.

Based on its special properties, polypropylene is versatile in applications. It is used, inter alia, for car interior fittings, wire and cable sheathing, insulating films, packaging and even for Australian and New Zealand dollars.
